Bright sunshine, enthusiasm and a lot of curiosity characterized FC Lugano’s first participation in Sportissima, the cantonal day dedicated to sports that took place on Sunday, Sept. 14 at the Lugano Lido.
PLAY AND FUN
The HCL booth welcomed numerous little girls, many of them at their first experience with soccer. In a festive atmosphere, coaches from the girls’ academy offered simple and playful activities: ball drills, challenges of shooting in small goalposts, and tests of accuracy with obstacles.
ENTHUSIASM AND INTEREST
Young participants had fun trying their hand at the games offered, while parents appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the club’s women’s section. There was no shortage of new contacts from families interested in signing up their daughters for the U10F, U12F and U13F teams.
AN IMPORTANT STEP
The presence at Sportissima represented a significant occasion for FC Lugano women’s team. An initiative that gave visibility to the HCL movement and confirmed the club’s commitment to concretely invest in the future of women’s sports in Ticino.
